During the snow season, the 2.5 mile lighted loop is lit Monday through Saturday until 9:00 pm. The park closes at 5 pm on Sundays.
|There are 17 miles of loop trails with varying degrees of difficulty. The Green and Purple Loops are the easiest terrain with approximately 2.0 miles, the Blue Loop is intermediate terrain with approximately 5.8 miles and the Black Loop is advanced terrain with approximately 7.0 miles. When there is snow, there is a 2.5 mile lighted loop. An area ski club and places offers skiing lessons. There is a blacktopped, Plantation Path, accessible trail for wheelchairs. Wheel and Sprocket of Delafield will provide rentals for striding and skate skis as well as snowshoes and fat tire bikes at the Wheel & Sprocket and Peak Nordic Ski Hut white shed located on the road to Evergreen Parking Lot. Contact Wheel and Sprocket of Delafield for winter 2018 rentals at Lapham Peak and at their store. Bicycle Doctor in Dousman also rents equipment.
The Wednesday Ski League holds races for elementary school, high school and adult participants. The Wednesday Night Ski Series begins on the first Wednesday in January and continues until the second Wednesday in February. In 2018, was a success due to the snowmaking loop. Thanks to all the participants!
