The Lapham Peak Friends, in cooperation with the DNR and community businesses, have embarked on an ambitious project to bring snow-making capabilities to the ski trails at Lapham Peak Unit of the Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest.  The man-made snow has extended the ski season and improved the quality of the snow base for the trail users.
